A Description Of The Wudhu’(ablution) Of The Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)
My method for this treatise has been not to quote except what is authentic from the hadeeth of Rasoolullah (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) – if Allaah wishes – orderi…ng it according to the order of the Wudoo of Rasoolullah (sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam), and I have commented on some of the points about which there is difference of opinion – stating that which is correct therefrom in our view after replying to the other opinions.

A person who has converted to Islam does not need to change their name unless their name embodies the worship of someone or some thing other than God. Read the rest of this entry
THE REMEMBRANCE OF ALLAH (DHIKR)
“Allah enjoined His worshipper to perform prayer, work and remember Him. Therefore, it is desirable to remember Allah in places such as markets, because people always forget to do so in these places. Abu’ ‘Ubaydah bin ‘Abdullah bin Mas’ud said, ‘As long as a man’s heart remembers Allah, he is just like a person performing prayer even if he has been in the market. If he moved his lips with the remembrance of Allah, it is even better.’ One of th…e Pious Predecessors used to go to the market in order to remember Allah among those who did not.
Two men met in the market and one of them said, ‘Let’s remember Allah while people forget Him.’ They sat alone in a place and kept on remembering Allah. Later, one of them died. The other saw him in a dream and the dead man said, ‘Did you know that Allah has forgiven our sins when we met in the market?”

THE BENEFITS OF RECTING SURAH YASIN (CHAPTER 36)
It is commonly known that Surah Yaseen is the “heart” of the Quran. Why is it known as the heart of the Quran? In our bodies, the heart is considered to be the most important organ. It supplies the entire body with blood to keep us functioning. Without the heart, the body cannot live. It is to emphasize the great importance of Surah Yaseen that it is called the “heart” of the Quran. Read the rest of this entry

The Bad Consequences of the Tongue
The Bad Consequences of the Tongue
The Heart:
The most important part of the body is the heart as has been mentioned by our noble Prophet Muhammed – SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam – in his saying, “Indeed there is a piece of flesh in your body that, if it be sound, then the whole body will be sound and if it be corrupt then the whole body will be corrupt. Indeed it is the heart.” – Sahih al-Bukhari [1/49] & Sahih al-Muslim [1599]
The heart is thus the port where all actions stem, whether good or evil. If the heart is good then the actions will be good and if the heart is corrupt then the actions will be bad. The heart is the place where Allah scans, as the Messenger of Allah – SallAllahu ‘alaihi wa sallam – says, “Allah does not look at your bodies nor your faces but he scans your heart and actions.” – Sahih al-Muslim [4/6221]
As for the heart, Allah has commanded us to love Him and His Messenger, to love the righteous people, to love that which Allah loves and to hate all which Allah hates. The tongue acts accordingly, because…. the tongue expresses what is in the heart. Read the rest of this entry
[Al-Qadaa And Al-Qadar] Fate And Destiny
by : Muhammad Metwalli Al-Sharawii
The meaning of Al-Qadaa and Al-Qadar: when mentioned separately both mean the predestination (pre-decree) of an action or event. When used together Al -Qadar refers to the pre-decree of an action or event before it occurs and Al-Qadaa refers to the act or event after it took place. If our actions are already pre-decreed, where is the free will? Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala sent Messengers to guide ma…nkind to the truth, and we are given the choice of believing and obeying the command or rejecting the truth. Allah already knows which path we will take, as it is recorded in the Lawh Al-Mahfuz.
