Be wise and choose wisely.

May Allah Give us righteous spouses and children who are the coolness of our eyes.

Do you know why it’s important for parents to be righteous, and the context of this verse ‘and their father had been righteous’?

This verse is in Surah Al Kahf, and in it Allaah tells us how He sent Khidr with Musa a.s to fix a wall that belonged to orphans, who had no idea that two of the best men in the world were doing something for them that would Protect them, because Allah had sent them for that express purpose!

‘And as for the wall, it belonged to two orphan boys in the city, and there was beneath it a treasure for them, and their father had been righteous. So your Lord intended that they reach maturity and extract their treasure, as a mercy from your Lord.’- Surah Al Kahf.
