“What is wrong with those people who look towards the sky during the prayer ?” His talk grew stern while delivering this speech and he said, “They should stop (looking towards the sky during the prayer); otherwise their eye-sight would be taken away.”

65 Reasons to Believe Jesus Did Not Die on the Cross

1.   Why crucifixion?

Jews wanted him to be killed through crucifixion, so they can prove that  Jesus is not a beloved of God, rather the curse of God is on him. Jews could  have killed him easily as they were in hundreds of thousands in number and very  strong. If killing should have been their desire, they could have done it  easily. Just like they paid thirty pieces of silver to one of his disciples, if  they would have paid him more, he might have done this service too. But they  wanted him to be crucified so they can prove that he is not from God, rather he  is an imposter and a fabricator. If he was from God, then God will definitely  save him. May be that was the reason that Jesus was so reluctant to suffer on  the cross.

2.   Who  wanted him to be crucified? Read the rest of this entry

Wudhu (Ablution) Tutorial- Must Watch

The Best of forgivers, that is our Allaah

When Allaah pardons those who say His name just once with love, will He not surely pardon those lovers who remember Him night and day? Will He deprive those lovers of His Grace, His Paradise and His beauty? Far is it from Him!

Therefore, we are told, if a person flings another’s fault in his face, be it in public or in pr…ivate, the earth itself appeals to Allaah to let it deal with the one who exposes the other’s fault. “My Lord,” says the earth, “You are the Lord of All Worlds, yet You cover up the sins of Your servants, rather than flinging them in their faces. This man, himself a sinner, has disgraced a servant of Yours by exposing his offence. Pray permit me to swallow up this fellow, as I swallowed Qarun.”

If a person sees another’s sin, yet hides the fault he has seen and does not divulge it to others, Allaah will cover up seventy of that person’s sins and faults.

He is the Forgiver of sins and Veil-er of faults.

Rights of women in Islaam

-_1_~1The subject of the rights of women in Islaam has often been clouded by controversy, personal opinions and sheer ignorance.

The issue of Women in Islaam has been the subject of all kinds of controversies, misunderstandings and especially misinformation. This work will discuss and explain this subject according to the precise teachings of the Qur’aan and the Sunnah (sayings, acts, i.e., the traditions) of Allah’s Messenger

The Qur’aan speaks of similarity in terms of creation. God tells us that He created a single soul and from it its mate, then He made countless men and women from those two (see Qur’aan 4:1). The Qur’aan does not contain the belief that the man alone is created in the image of God.

Because of this fundamental similarity between men and women, the Qur’aan declares that women have rights similar to the rights against them according to what is equitable (Qur’aan 2:228). Read the rest of this entry

The Title: Top 10 Reasons Why Jesus Christ Is Not God -Yushva Evans

The Title: Top 10 Reasons Why Jesus Christ Is Not God -Yushva Evans Short Description: A marvelous episode from the Deenshow.com about the top ten reasons why Jesus (peace be upon him) is not a god. Brother Yushva  Evans confirms that he can mention additional reasons along with what he said and that the reasons are not confined to these ten reasons. They are here in a descending order: 10- God c…annot be born. 9- No explicit statement in which Jesus said, “I’m God” or “Worship me”. 8- No one can see God in this life. 7- Jesus never taught the Trinity. 6- God does not sleep, eat, drink, etc. Jesus slept, ate, drank, etc. 5- Jesus does not know everything. 4- Jesus explicitly states that he is not God. 3- The Bible does not call Jesus the son of God alone. 2- God cannot change. He is perfect. 1- God is the essence of the worship. He is the object of worship. Had Jesus been God, he would have told people to worship him. Truly, he did the exact opposite as in Matthew 15:9.

Praying behind Beardless Imam – Dr. Zakir Naik

377955_194554273969638_172334839524915_395242_652187139_nPraying behind Beardless Imam – Dr. Zakir Naik
Question: My son is working in Japan. He attends the Tarawih prayer at a mosque, where two imams lead the Tarawih prayer on alternate days. One is an Egyptian and another one is from some Arab country. This Imam is not professional imam. He is a wealthy person in the city where my son resides. The Imam has not sported the beard. Some Pakistanis do n…ot pray behind him when he leads the Tarawih prayer, objecting that it is not right for a person to pray behind an imam, who does not sport a beard. But my son prays behind that imam and he is very much puzzled over this matter whether to pray or not to pray behind the imam who does not sport a beard. My son has sent this query over the phone seeking clarification. A.Basheer Answer: Shaving beard is Fisq and the one who does that is Fasiq. It is preferable to have an Imam having a beard. However, if such an Imam is not available, then it is allowed to offer Salah behind a beardless Imam. It is agreed upon by the Ahle-Sunnah-Wal- Jam’ah that offering Salah behind every righteous or Fasiq Muslim is allowed and his Salah is valid so that there is unity amongst the Muslims, in order to avoid any conflict. Therefore your son is correct in offering Salah behind the imam. Infact, those who do not offer Salah behind him should also start doing so, in order to avoid any conflict. However, as soon as an Imam with beard is available, you may start offering Salah behind him, and Allah knows the best.

Women praying Jumu’ah: two rak’ahs only – Sheikh Muhammed Salih Al-Munajjid

373814_194553953969670_172334839524915_395241_804614438_nAssalamualaikum,
Is it permissible for women to pray the friday Zuhr prayer in the mosque that is only two rakat . When i was a child Iwas told that two rakat of Zuhr prayer on friday is only for men and women are supposed to pray on friday as any other day . Please guide me . Jazakallah khair .

Women do not have to pra…y Salaat al-Jumu’ah (Friday prayer). Ibn Qudaamah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “As regards women, there is no difference (among the scholars) concerning the fact that Jumu’ah is not obligatory for them.” ( Al-Mughni ma’a al-Sharh al-Kabeer , 2/151). But if a woman prays Jumu’ah in the mosque, then she should pray two rak’ahs, just like the men. Ibn Hazm (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “Jumu’ah is not obligatory for one who is weak because of sickness or who has another valid excuse, or for women, but if any of these people attend Jumu’ah, they should pray two rak’ahs.” ( al-Muhallaa , 5/81). So if a woman goes to the mosque and prays Jumu’ah, this is good enough, and she does not have to pray Zuhr too. And Allaah knows best.

God does not become a human being – Dr. Zakir Naik

There is No such thing as Good Bid’ah

Ibn Abbaas (d. 68H) said: “Indeed the most detestable of things to Allaah are the innovations.” Reported by al-Bayhaqee in as-Sunan al-Kubraa (4/316)

Ibn Umar (d. 84H) said: “Every innovation is misguidance, even if the people see it as something good.” Reported by Abu Shaamah (no. 39)

Bid’ah can never be deemed as good, even if there are texts that genera…lly recommend the innovative acts performed for other times and places. To illustrate this point, the remaining companions of the Prophet, sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ) condemned and rejected Marwaan Ibn Al-Hakam may Allaah have mercy upon him when he innovated of a new Adhaan, or call for prayer, for the ‘Eed prayer. This was despite the fact that the Adhaan already existed for the five daily prayers and so was not something entirely new. Likewise, it would be an innovation if someone were to pray at a specific time of the day or the week, a certain number of optional prayers. This is because although praying is an act which is legislated and the Islamic texts recommend it, specifying a time and a set number of prayers with the intention of pleasing Allaah is an innovation if specific supportive evidences to prove the legitimacy of the specified time, day and number of prayers are not given. Will Christians enter Paradise or go to Hell?

Are You Ready For Islaam
Will Christians enter Paradise or go to Hell? Sura 5:69 says “Yes”, Sura 5:72 (just 3 verses later) says “No”.
The first says that those who “believe in Allaah,” i.e. became Muslims, shall be saved. This is explained in sufficient detail by the proceeding verse, verse 68, which requires them to first accept the Noble Qur’aan and “stand straight” (Arabic: “Tuqeemoo”) the Bible before they shall be considered in possession of any portion of guidance…. Strange how the author of this list managed to side-step the requirements that are presented and which first must be present in them in order for them to be saved. All he reads is the word “saved.” The stipulation that they must first follow the Noble Qur’aan is for some reason conveniently disregarded. Read the rest of this entry

Quoting a verse of Qur’aan as a proverb

1507948_699088106790459_78279281_nQuoting a verse of Qur’aan as a proverb
We hear many people using Qur’aanic verses as proverbs and the like, such as the verses (interpretation of the meaning): “Which will neither nourish nor avail against hunger” [al-Ghaashiyah 88:7] and “Thereof (the earth) We created you, and into it We shall return you, and from it We shall bring you out once again” [Ta-Ha 20:55]. That includes Qur’aanic verses which cannot be uttered except for beneficial purposes, not for mockery and …making fun, as it is commonly quoted by some people, either verbally or in writing. Is that permissible or not?.

Islam and Extremism

On Extremism
“Islam as an ideology is a uniquely modern phenomenon. In the 20th Century, the century of ideologies, imitation took on a new form within the Islamic world. Communism, Socialism, Nationalism and even Fascism all became fashionable and all failed to restore the greatness of the Ummah. So there was nothing left but to transform Islam into an ‘ism’ and men without an ounce of piety (let alone humility) in their makeup and who disdain spirituality became fanatical …‘Islamists.’” Read the rest of this entry

Quick evidence that Jesus is not God

Quick evidence that Jesus is not God – by Dr Shabir Ally

Often Muslims ask me how they may quickly show their Christian friends that Jesus is not God. Show them Mark 13:32 where Jesus is reported to have said about the end times: “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” Christians generally believe that “the Son” in that verse refers to Jesus himself. In that case, it is his confession that there is something that he does not know, and therefore that he is not the all-knowing God.

In 1999, a group of scientists in Britain, Canada, USA and Germany have done a planned design for the universe to show the points of the galaxies on it. It was shown that the galaxies are spread and distributed on threads that look like the web. Therefore the scientists considered that the universe has a tightened texture.

Only then, will you be on your way to attaining that inner peace and comfort Salah was prescribed for.’

CALIPH UMAR’S ADDRESS AFTER JERUSALEM

After receiving the surrender of Jerusalem and completing the tour of Syria when Caliph Umar was returning to Madina he led the prayer at Jabiah. On this occasion he delivered an address which is preserved in history. The major part of his address was:

“O ye people I counsel you to read the Qur’aan. Try to understand it and ponder over it. Imbibe the teachings of the Qur’aan. Then practise what the Qura’an teaches. The Qur’aan is not th…eoretical; it is a practical code of life. The Qur’aan does not bring you the message of the Hereafter only; it is primarily intended to guide you in this life. Mold your life in accordance with the teachings of Islaam for that is the way of your well being. By following any other way you will be inviting destruction. “Fear Allaah (The One True God), and whatever you want seek from Him. All men are equal. Do not flatter those in authority. Do not seek favors from others. By such acts you demean yourself. And remember that you will get only that is ordained for you, and no one can give you anything against the will of God. Then why seek things from others over which they have no control? Only supplicate God for He alone is the sovereign.
