“Do not spent your time finding fault with one another.”

1381347_559532817450320_1799198216_n (1)“O you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one’s] faith. And whoever does not repent – then it is those who are the wrongdoers.”

Is tawassul (intercession) Allowed in Islam?

Is it true, as some people say, that tawassul or “seeking means” through the Prophet and the awliya’ such as seeking their intercession is not necessary nor a priority in Islam, because Allah said that He is near and answers whoever calls Him directly?

What about the statement in al-Wala’ wal-Bara’ according to the `Aqeedah of the Salaf whereby among the “ten actions that negate Islam” is “relying on an intermediary between oneself and Allah when seeking intercession”?

What about those who compare tawassul and asking intercession to the Christian worship of Jesus and the saints, those who reject tabarruk bi al-athar — getting blessings from the Prophet’s relics — as being outside Islam, and those who put limitations on invoking salawat — blessings and peace — on the Prophet?

And what about Albani’s claims that tawassul is not through the person of the Prophet even after his time, but through his du`a and only in his lifetime?

Standing Firm in Obeying Allaah

1385063_624751634215020_1448236619_nby ‘Abdul Muhsin Ibn Muhammad al-Qâsim

Shawaal 13, 1422 (December 28, 2001)
All praise is due to Allaah, Lord of all the worlds. May peace and blessings be upon the Messenger, his household and companions.
Brothers in faith! Fear Allaah and be dutiful to Him. That is the admonition of Allaah to His slaves and admonition of His Messenger to his nation.
Fellow Muslims! Allaah has facilitated for His slaves the ways to blessings and He alone controls the days and months. He makes the night enter into the day and makes the day enter into the night. He created the cause for everything, makes a decree for every matter, and a reckoning for every deed. He also made this world like a marketplace where people go back and forth; some selling themselves and some freeing themselves. Days are but parts and stages of one’s life. The passage of each day reduces one’s lifespan, brings one closer to death and brings the record of one’s deeds to a gradual end. Read the rest of this entry

Sunnah or Bid’ah – How Can We Tell? Dr. Bilal Philips

960176_237940536364026_529236347_nHow can we tell if a certain worship is innovated in Islam? what is the way to distinguish between a Sunnah and a Bid’ah?

When we come back to Tawhid and Ibadah, worshipping Allah by maintaining His unity in that worship, we do so in the way that the companions of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him) did.

We do not invent or introduce new ways of worship, as some people for example; they want to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and blessings be upon him). So they say, “this is something good”. They may even bring a verse from the Quran. They will say, “Allah said in the Quran, ‘Indeed, Allah confers blessing upon the Prophet, and His angels [ask Him to do so]. O you who have believed, ask [Allah to confer] blessing upon him and ask [Allah to grant him] peace.'” [Noble Quran 33:56] They bring this verse out. Read the rest of this entry

1395970_10151735680386344_552180457_nThe Muslim society is a society of cooperation and mutual support.

Ibn Abi’l-Dunya narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that;
the Prophet (SallAllahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam), said:
“The most beloved of people to Allah is the one who brings most
benefit to people, and the most beloved of deeds to Allah is making
a Muslim happy, or relieving him of hardship, or paying off his debt,
or warding off hunger from him. For me to go with my Muslim brother
to meet his need is dearer to me than observing i’tikaaf in this mosque –

meaning the mosque of Madeenah – for a month… whoever goes

firm on the Day when all feet will slip.”

Understanding Necessary Not Reading

941834_638426936179818_164758145_nRasul Allah (SallAllahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam) said:
“In the last days of this world there will appear some young foolish people who will use the best speech of all people (i.e. the Qur’an), but they will abandon Islam as an arrow going through the game. Their belief will not go beyond their throats (i.e. they will have practically no belief),
so wherever you meet them, kill them, for he who kills them shall get a reward on the Day of Resurrection.”
[Sahih Bukhari]..

This hadith is about the Khawarij. They used to recite the Qur’an so much that its recitation could be heard from a distance away from their camps. They prayed much and lived very simply but the Prophet (SallAllahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam ) said about them that they would be the dogs of the inmates of Hell. This is because they would apply the ayaat of the Qur’an meant for the non-Muslims to the Muslims. They would interpret verses of the Qur’an out of context and they made the blood of the Muslims lawful
for themselves and for boasting among themselves.
They were part of the first fitnah of the Muslim Ummah. Read the rest of this entry

Salvation: Blood? or Mercy? – Sheikh Yusuf Estes

862457_10151953293494511_2004188980_nWhy don’t you Muslims believe in the blood of Jesus on the cross as salvation and Divine Justice? You said to me, “Because God never punishes the innocent for the sins of somebody else.”

That is true and I agree with that: God is just, no doubts about that.

But from your answer, it seems to me you are indicating that Jesus on the cross is not in line with God’s Divine Justice, because you say God never punishes an innocent one for the sins of the guilty ones. Right?

… Let the most perfect and most innocent one remove the sin and forgive the children (us) without hurting the children. Now, I ask you something – when children do something bad, aren’t the parents in grief over it? Yet they still love their children, right? Think about it like this: suppose the parents are righteous people and they teach the child the right path, yet the child goes astray somehow. Is this the fault of the parents? I do not think so. So why do they suffer? Read the rest of this entry

How to Erase Our Sins

1375645_541335492613321_2069257499_nFollowing is a compilation of Ahadîth that speaks of ways in which we can erase our sins, In shaAllâh!

A servant [of Allâh’s] committed a sin and said: O Allâh, forgive me my sin. And He (glorified and exalted be He) said: My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for them. Then he sinned again and said: O Lord, forgive me my sin. And He (glorified and exalted be He) said: My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for them. Then he sinned again and said: O Lord, forgive me my sin. And He (glorified and exalted be He) said: My servant has committed a sin and has known that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punishes for sins. Do what you wish, for I have forgiven you. [Hadîth Qudsi]

O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great at it. Biggest Contradiction in the Bible

Biggest Contradiction in the Bible
The First Letter to John says:
“Jesus Christ, the righteous: and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” [1 John 2:1,2]

Contrary to this we read in the book of Proverbs:

“The wicked shall be ransom for the righteous, and the transgressor for
the upright.” [Prov. 21:18]

Rejecting Advice When Someone Says “Fear Allah” Is A Characteristics of Hypocrites

1377189_636413829742896_321726109_nRejecting Advice When Someone Says “Fear Allah” Is A Characteristics of Hypocrites

“And when it is said to him, “Fear Allah”, he is led by arrogance to (more) crime.” (2:206)

This Ayah indicates that when the hypocrite, who deviates in his speech and deeds, is advised and commanded to fear Allah, refrain from his evil deeds and adhere to the truth, he refuses and becomes angry and outraged, as he is used to doing evil.

Abusing Companions of Holy Prophet is a wrong act

941834_638426936179818_164758145_nAbusing Companions of Holy Prophet is a wrong act:
Prove from authentic hadith:

Narrated Abu Said:
The Prophet said, “Do not abuse my companions for if any one of you spent gold equal to Uhud (in Allah’s Cause) it would not be equal to a Mud or even a half Mud spent by one of them.”

– Bukhari volume 5 book 57 hadith 22

Quran Confirm the Holy Bible But muslims wont admit it!

If only they had stood fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that was sent to them from their Lord, they would have enjoyed happiness from every side. There is from among them a party on the right course: but many of them follow a course that is evil. Q.5.v.6

This noble verse of the Qur’aan informs us that the People of the Book are not holding on to the Torah and the Injeel. Allaah says that if they were following the Torah and the Injeel then they would have enjoyed happiness. Now the Christian missionaries claim that the Noble Qur’aan certifies that the entire Bible is uncorrupted. As we can see in this verse the Noble Qur’aan is actually telling us that they are not following the Torah and the Injeel. Under what circumstances would they not be following it? The only reason why they would not be following it is if they would not have the complete original books. So this verse actually informs us that they do not have the uncorrupted version of the books. Now the latter part of the verse states that among the People of the Book there are a few who are on the right course.  Read the rest of this entry

by : Dr Zakir Naik

Thus, believing in a supreme being that is omnipotent and omniscience is essential to the existence of mankind. This full-colored book tackles the issue of existence of God from a different perspective including starting off with how different people view God. It first categorizes the belief of the major religions into 5 types of religions. Then, it describes the concept of God for world’s several major religions including Hinduism, Sikhism, Judaism, and others. The book ends with a detailed analysis of concept of God in Islam and how it perfects the concept of God.

by : Dr. Maurice Bucaille

In his objective study of the texts, Maurice Bucaille clears away many preconceived ideas about the Old Testament, the Gospels and the Qur’an. He tries, in this collection of Writings, to separate what belongs to Revelation from what is the product of error or human interpretation. His study sheds new light on the Holy Scriptures. At the end of a gripping account, he places the Believer before a point of cardinal importance: the continuity of a Revelation emanating from the same God, with modes of expression that differ in the course of time.

While some religions have been based on books, claimed by their adherents to be divinely inspired, others have relied solely on human experience and proof.

Why should one believe in Muhammad (SAWS)?

1) Muhammad (PBUH) was born with no silver spoon in his mouth. His life began with infinitesimal support. His father had died before he was born. His mother dies by the time he was six years old. He was doubly orphaned at this tender age, his grandfather Abdul Muttalib took charge of him, but he too died within three years. As soon as he was able, Muhammad (PBUH) began to look after his uncle’s sheep and goats. Contrast this poor, double orphaned Arab child with no formal education (Allaah calls him “The Unlettered Prophet” in the Noble Qur’aan) with some of the great religious personalities that preceded him, and you must marvel at what destiny had in store for him!1384133_549382431802083_1865795661_n Read the rest of this entry

Prophecies to Identify the Messiah, Which Jesus Does Not Fulfill:

Matthew 1:23 says that Jesus the messiah would be called Immanuel, which means “God with us.” Yet no one, not even his parents, call him Immanuel at any point in the bible.

The Messiah must be a physical descendant of David Romans 1:3 & Acts 2:30. Yet, how could Jesus meet this requirement since his genealogies in Matthew 1 and Luke 3 show he descended from David through Joseph, who was not his natural father because of the Virgin Birth. Hence, this prophecy could not have been fulfilled.
Isaiah 7:16 seems to say that before Jesus had reached the age of maturity, both of the Jewish countries would be destroyed. Yet there is no mention of this prophecy being fulfilled in the New Testament with the coming of Jesus, hence this is another Messiah prophecy not fulfilled.

Jesus in John 14:12 & Mark 16:17-18 said: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth in me, the works that I do shall he also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” This implies that Jesus’ true followers should be able to routinely perform the following tricks: 1) cast out devils, 2) speak in tongues, 3) take up serpents, 4) drink poisons without harm, and 5) cure the sick by touching them and MANY other of Jesus’ “works”. Curiously I have yet to see a Christian that can do any of the above on demand.

Should I confess?

1380241_10151634743011415_849175415_nA person may sorrowfully ask: “I want to repent, but do I have to go and confess the sins I have committed? Is it a condition of repentance that I should tell the qaadi (judge) in the court about everything that I have done, and ask him to carry out the appropriate punishment on me? What is the meaning of the story I have just readabout the repentance of Maa’iz, of the Ghaamidi woman and of the man who kissed a woman in the garden?”

My response to you is that the slave’s direct relationship with Allaah, with no intermediaries, is one of the most important aspects of the belief in Tawheed (Divine Unity) with which Allaah is pleased. He says (interpretation of the meaning): “And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor)…” [al-Baqarah 2:186]. If we believe that repentance is only for Allaah, then confession is only for Allaah too. In fact, the Prophet used to pray in his du’aa’s asking for forgiveness: “Aboo’u laka bi na’matika wa aboo’u bi dhanbi (I acknowledge Your blessings and I acknowledge (i.e. confess) my sin to You).” This is a confession to Allaah. 1379875_10151634742696415_1018371856_nYou should know, may Allaah have mercy on me and on you, that Allaah has commanded His slaves to repent sincerely and has made doing so obligatory. He says (interpretation of the meaning): “O you who believe! Turn to Allaah with sincere repentance…”

[al-Tahreem 66:8].
Allaah has given us time to repent before the honourable scribes (kiraaman kaatibeen – recording angels) record our deeds. The Prophet said: “The (scribe) on the left hand raises his pen (i.e., delays writing) for six hours [this may refer to six hours of 60 minutes as measured by astronomers, or it may refer to short periods of time during the day or night – Lisaan al-‘Arab] before he records the sinful deed of a Muslim. If he regrets it and seeks Allaah’s forgiveness, the deed is not recorded, otherwise it is recorded as one deed.” (Reported by al-Tabaraani in al-Kabeer and al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab al-Eemaan (The Branches of Faith); classed as hasan by al-Albaani in Silsilat al-Ahaadeeth al-Saheehah, 1209). A further respite is granted after the deed has been recorded, up until the moment before death approaches. Read the rest of this entry

What causes someone to backbite his Muslim brothers and sisters?

3673_137111303143353_168342071_n1. Satisfying Anger

This is done by backbiting the person who kindles his anger. So every time this person makes him angry, he subdues it by backbiting the person. Through this (the backbiting), he feels he is getting even with the other person.

The cure for this is the advice of the Messenger sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam when a man came to him and said, “Advise me.”

RasulAllah sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam said, “Laa taqhdab (Do not become angry)!”

2. Wanting to Make or Keep Friends

In order to maintain friends with others, a person indulges in backbiting because he is afraid of losing their friendship. Thus he does not reprimand them when they backbite, but indulges in it with them.

To cure this, he must remember the saying of the Messenger sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam:

“Whoever seeks the pleasure of men by displeasing Allah, Allah will abandon him to the people” (Tirmidhi). Read the rest of this entry

WHY IS THERE EVIL? Why does God allow suffering?

1392020_524968480921620_411316094_nWHY IS THERE EVIL:

•Why does God allow suffering?

Throughout history this question has plagued humanity. The general stance is that if there was a perfectly good, all-knowing, all-powerful God, then there would be no evil or suffering in the world – death, disease, old age, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and starvation would not feature in life’s equation.

When addressing the question it becomes apparent that the above statement takes on board the following premises: Read the rest of this entry

Hadith of the day- being Kind

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:

“Be kind, for whenever kindness becomes part of something, it beautifies it. Whenever it is taken from something, it leaves it tarnished.”

(Saheeh Al Muslim, Book #032, Hadith #6274)
