Do you know background of ATTA’HIYYAAT, as to why we recite it in every prayer?
Attahiyyaat is a very important ‘Dua’ we repeat it in our daily prayers. When I learnt the importance of this, it melted my heart.
Attahiyat is actually a part of conversation between Our Creator Allah SWT and our beloved Prophet Muhammad Sallalahu’alayhi wasallam during his journey of Al Isra Wal Miraj.
When Prophet Muhammad Sallalahualayhiwasallam met Allah SWT, he didn’t say ‘Assalam aleikum’. What is someone going to say when he meets Allah ? We can’t wish HIM peace because ALL sources of peace are through HIM.
So Prophet Muhammad Sallalahualayhiwasallam said:
“Attahiyyaatu Lillahi Was Salawatu Wattayyibatu” (All compliments, all prayer and worship are for Allah)
Allah replied:
“Assalamu Alaika Ayyuhannabiyyu ‘Warahmatullahi Wabarka’tuhu” (Peace be upon you, Oh Prophet and Allah’s Mercy and Blessings).
To this, Prophet Muhammad sallalahualayhiwasallam replied:
“Assalamu Alaina Wa’ala’Ibadillahis Saa’liheen” (Peace be on us and on all good slaves of Allah)
*Note* Prophet Muhammad sallalahualayhiwasallam included “us” in his reply… (and on all good slaves of Allah)
And listening to this conversation between Allah and His Messenger sallalahualayhiwasalam, the Angels said:
“Ash’had’u’un La ilahaillallahu Wa Ash’hadu Anna Muhammadun Abd’uhu Wa Rasooluh”
(I bear witness that no one is worthy of worship except Allah And I bear witness that Muhammad is His Messenger).
SubhanAllah!
I now understand the importance of this conversation in our daily prayers and how the Salat was prescribed to us.
Why they Insult our Dear Prophet PBUH?
They often make use of their media to display their hatred towards Muslims. Sometimes by misquoting our scholars, sometimes by playing ‘blame game’, sometimes by making blasphemous movies to provoke sensitivity of the believers towards Allaah and His Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)
They hate the Prophet because he called people to Monotheism, and they are polytheists.
They hate him because he denied the disbelievers claim that God has a wife and a son.
They hate him because he called people towards soft-heartedness, towards….
Honesty in Islam
Islam orders the Muslim to be honest to himself and others. This order repeatedly comes in the Noble Qur’an and the sayings of Prophet Muhammad (SAWS). Islam orders the Muslim to tell the truth even if it is against the teller’s interest. Orders him not to cheat or deceive other people. A Muslim is ordered by Allah to be honest in his words and deeds, privately and publicly alike.
Implication of Honesty:
Honesty in words implies telling the truth in all cases and under all conditions. Honesty also implies fulfilling the promise, whether written or given orally, in text and spirit. Honesty also implies giving the right advice to the one who asks for it.
Honesty also implies doing one’s work as sincerely and as perfectly as possible. Honesty also implies carrying out duties as fully as possible whether the person is supervised or not. Honesty means giving every person his due rights without his asking for these rights.
Honesty means doing the…

Health Benefits of Honey
The Prophet sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam liked to drink honey, juice, water and milk.
Anas radiyAllaahu ‘anhu reported: I have served the Messenger of Allah, sallAllaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, with this cup of mine: honey, juice, water, and milk.
[Sahih Muslim, Book 23, Number 4982]
Honey is abluent and an aperient. It contains detergent and tonic properties that cleanse the arteries and bowels of impurities.
It opens obstructions of the liver, kidney and bladder.
It is also a general preservative, and it helps to preserve the potency of salves among other natural medicinal remedies. Honey also helps to break up excess moisture in the bowels, such as in diarrhea.
Honey is superior to sugar in many respects, and it is less sweet but stronger, and if taken excessively, it can be harmful ..
The danger of hypocrisy
Praise be to Allaah.
Hypocrisy is a serious sickness and a great crime. It means making an outward display of Islam whilst inwardly concealing kufr. Hypocrisy is more dangerous than kufr (disbelief) and the punishment for it is more severe, because it is kufr mixed with Islam and its harmful effects are greater. Hence Allaah will put the hypocrites in the lowest level of Hell, as He says (interpretation of the meaning):
“Verily, the hypocrites will be in the lowest depth (grade) of the Fire; no helper will you find for them.
[The Holy Quran, Surrah al-Nisaa’ 4:145]
The hypocrites are always confused, always planning deceit and plots. Although outwardly they..
