Patience is half of faith (Imaan)
We all face problems and burdens, and when it happens we think that we are the martyr and none is like us!
If one lost job he thinks he is the only unfortunate ! if someone divorce , she thinks she is the unhappiest in the world, when someone loose his son or his daughter or anyone of his family members, he thinks he is the most unlucky in the world!
We all forget that everything is written before we born and this is confirmed in Quran:
57:22) No disaster strikes upon the earth or among yourselves except that it is in a register before we bring it into being – indeed that, for Allah, is easy
So we have to accept the fate whatever it be, and for that we have to be patient.
Allah Subhanahu said:
3:200) O you who have believed, persevere and endure and remain stationed and fear Allah that you may be successful.
Allah advised us to be patient and endure and to fear Allah , and the reward is the success!
So the way to righteousness is to be patient:
1-Patient in obeying the recommendations and in practicing the religion
2-Patient in avoiding what is prohibited.
Ibn Massaoud said the faith (Imane) is divided on two halves: patience and gratitude to Allah
Then when you re patient, you see clear in your situation and you can face better your problems!
And who is more truthful that our beloved Mohamed pbuh when he gave a bright description of patience when he said :” Patience is light”
This because if you re not patient so you can’t go out of the darkness depression and unhappiness because of his Dissatisfaction.
Allah subhanahou said :
64:11) No disaster strikes except by permission of Allah . And whoever believes in Allah – He will guide his heart. And Allah is Knowing of all things.
So patience when disaster strikes lead to guidance if we are patient and guidance lead to Jennah:
13:23) Gardens of perpetual residence; they will enter them with whoever were righteous among their fathers, their spouses and their descendants. And the angels will enter upon them from every gate, [saying],
13:24) “Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured. And excellent is the final home.”
Then the strongest is your faith, the more disaster will strikes you! Why? Because your patience is proportionally strong!
That’s why the most affected by disaster were the prophets!
So be patient and accept the fate, you don’t know what Allah hide for you!
