What do I do when I feel down?

421875_601964233181475_283767908_nThrough out this month you’re going to face some serious challenges. From the biggest of them is that you’re going to be LAZY! It’s going to get so bad that it will ruin the feeling of Ramadan. You won’t want to read Quran. You won’t want to go to Taraweeh. You’ll just want to lay in bed or be entertained. What can you do to fight this off?

1- Remember that you may not live to see another Ramadan.

2- Make the following supplication regularly through out the day.

Allahumma inni ‘audhubika min al-hammi wal huzani, wal ‘ajzi wal kasali, wal bukhli wal jubni, wa dala’ad-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijâl.

O Allah, I take refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, weakness and laziness, miserliness and cowardice, the burden of debtsand from being over powered by men.

Share with those you think will benefit.

Let’s help each other not to be lazy this Ramadan. ‪#‎RamadanResolution‬[by Shaykh Navaid Aziz]
